Gillian / Fabric Nation workshopGillian (Fabric Nation) will be taking part in Wandsworth Artists Open House this year, so if you are passing by why not drop in for a browse with a cup of tea and slice of homemade cake. It’s part of the Tooting Art Trail, with competitions, guided tours, a story trail and many more workshops and demos in artists houses, all open for the first two weekends of October. Take a look at the full programme.

Gillian will be showing her beautifully handmade vintage fabric homewares & accessories, and sharing open house with Mandy‘s colourful fused glass, Louise‘s fabulous jewellery upcycled from buttons, shells and stones and some new bead work, Cate‘s beautiful photographs and restoration work and Neil‘s explorations of natural forms using photographic collage and sculpture.

There will be workshops on both weekends, suitable for all ages, including crafty little fingerbobs with Louise, vintage textile brooches and fascinators with Gillian and her fabulous stash of vintage fabrics, and on Saturday 2nd you can make a fused glass pendant or coaster with Mandy.

Hope to see you there.
