Travis Elborough, dapper chap and author of ‘Wish You Were Here: England on Sea’, is bringing the seaside to the Stoke Newington Literary Festival in June. Along with Travis are authors Karen McLeod, Matt Thorne, Ian Marchant, and Darren Hayman from Hefner, who will perform songs from his Great British Holidays EPs.
In keeping with the night’s theme, Seaside Sisters will be setting up stall with our crafts made from vintage coastal souvenir textiles, and accessories on a nautical theme. The first person to approach us with the phrase “The weather here is lovely” will win an exclusive Stoke Newington-on-Sea souvenir print (see below).
